HURRICANE—Mrs. Vada Hazel Alford, 62, of Hurricane, died Monday [May 17] in Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Arnold of Virginia, Mrs. Mildred Frances Chandler of St. Albans; sons, Franklin Alford and Wondal Lee Alford of Hurricane; stepsons, James Cline Alford of Hurricane, William Clyde Alford of Kentucky; brothers, Basil Chaney of St. Albans, Randall Chaney of Culloden, Hasil Chaney of Flint, Mich.; sisters, Mrs. Opel Cooper of Culloden, Mrs. Sylvia Nutter of Huntington.
Service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, with the Rev. Paul Harbour officiating, Burial will be in Clymer Creek Cemetery, Hurricane.
Friends may call today after noon at the funeral home.
