Funeral services for Willard K. Davis, 40, whose death occurred at his home, southwest of Stillwater, Monday, August 17, 1936, were held at Friends Chapel, Tuesday morning, August 18. Interment was in Oak Grove cemetery under direction of Henthorn Burial association.
Willard K. Davis, the son of Mr. and Mrs. I.L. Davis was born on March 24, 1896, in Noble county, near Perry. In 1917 he married Elnora Cook. They have lived in Payne county ever since. During the World war he served his country in the army.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Elnora Davis; one daughter, Velda Delores; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I.L. Davis, and one brother, Lee Davis.
He had many friends because he was a friend to all.
