Shot in Temple
A 20-year-old man was admitted in Memorial Hospital late last night with a gunshot in the head. Officers identified him as Baker B. Britton, Jr. H. L. Handley, investigating officer, said Britton was shot in the temple with a German Luger pistol. Handley said the shooting occurred about 11:45 p.m. at 3237 Mahan. The case was still under investigation late last night by Handley and T. J. DeSpain. Britton was in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital early this morning and full extent of his condition was not known.
