Born in Hamilton County on Sept. 6, 1942, Mrs. Irvin was the daughter of Harold Brent and the late Ella Mae Watt. She attended Hopewell Baptist Church in McLeansboro.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Irvin is also survived by one sister, Anna Mae Anderson and William of McLeansboro; daughter, Ronda Brady and Chris of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sons, Brad Irvin of Carmi and Tom Irvin of McLeansboro; daughter-in-law Terrie of McLeansboro; grandchildren Kevin, Koltyn, Jaden, Adam, Faith, Erin and Noah; two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Caleb; an aunt, Lucille Watt of McLeansboro; and several cousins, nices and nephews.
Mrs. Irvin was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Dale Irvin; sister Marie Eirick; niece Kim Cameron; mother Ella Watt; and grandparents L.A. and Lula Watt.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Interment will be at Hickory Hill Cemetery in Walpole following the funeral with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating.
