He lived at Short Creek, Pendleton County, Kentucky, and operated the Goforth Saw Mill there. He was also a farmer.
Survivors are his wife and two sons, Everett of Falmouth and Clarence of Covington; three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Harper of Cincinnati, Mrs. Leon Hasank of Williamstown, and Mrs. Delbert Prince of Falmouth; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Woodhead and Son Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Morgan Cemetery.
