MRS. CLAUDE E BROWN
Mrs. Lillian F. Brown, aged 83, of Unadilla Forks, died May 3 in Rome City Hospital.
She was born in the Town of Plainfield, the daughter of Kendrick J. and Ella Rogers Wing. She was graduated from Leonardsville High School and Oneonta Normal School. She taught for several years in local schools at Unadilla Forks.
She was married to Claude E. Brown in 1906 in Lloydsville. He died in 1961.
She was a member of the Unadilla Forks Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Russell of West Winfield, RD; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Robson of Rome, RD; two brothers, Chester of Lloydsville and Dwight of Unadilla Forks, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Wilcox of Unadilla Forks.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday from the Wilcox Funeral Home in West Winfield.
Burial will be in Unadilla Forks Cemetery.
