Amado B. Trujillo, age 64, beloved father, grandfather and brother was called home by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 26, 2005.
Amado was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, who as a young man excelled athletically and academically at Our Lady of Sorrows High School.
Amado retired from Public Service Company of New Mexico in 2002. A loving husband, fahter and grandfather, he cherished his family and loved to watch his kids and grandkids play sports. Amado will be remembered for his generosity, humbleness, humor and devotion to family. Amado leaves friends and family great memories of a man who set the perfect example and was always there when you needed him.
Amado was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, a daughter, Emily, a sister, Viola and a brother, Luís.
Amado is survived by four sons, Gerald Trujillo and wife, Renee, Tim Trujillo, Danny Trujillo and his wife, Tina and Robert Trujillo and his wife, Jennifer, one daughter, Monica Trujillo, 12 precious grandchildren, two brothers, Isidro Trujillo and Pablo Trujillo and his wife, Margie, two sisters, Irene Moreno and her husband, Richard and Lousia Trujillo.
Visitations will be on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Bernalillo Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Randy Mirabal, John Paul Trujillo, Gabriel Archibeque, Daniel Pérez Jr., Jonathan Trujillo and Rick Moreno.
