Fannie Arnold
Services for Fannie Arnold, 100, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Mike Drinkard officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Arnold died Monday morning at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 25, 1902 in Houston County to Francis and Sally Stubbs Bartee.
Mrs. Arnold was a homemaker and a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude K. Arnold, in 1964; and daughter, Modine Harris.
Mrs. Arnold is survived by daughters, Earline Christian of Palestine, Audrey Cornman of Highlands, Billie Sue Weir and Connie Read, both of Galveston, Shirley Hooper of Mesquite and Glenda Campbell of Kilgore; sons, Cecil Arnold of Groveton and Roy Arnold of Killeen; 56 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
