MABLE BRITTON
Mable A. Britton, 93, of Hurst died Thursday, April 17, in North Richland Hills. She was born January 12, 1910 in the Tarver community in Hill County, daughter of James (Elige) and Charlotte Tarver Worley. She lived in Hill County until 1954 when she moved to Fort Worth. She was a clerk for Lone Star Gas for 20 years and a mem-ber of Keller United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Arnold, October 16, 1958 and Joe Britton, July 5, 1971; four sisters, Rachel Boswell, Irene Boswell, Lucille Wooten and Elsie Taylor; and one brother, Rellis Worley. Survivors include: two children, Bobby Arnold and wife, Ethel, and Rita Taylor and husband, Walton, all of Hurst; one brother, Ellis Worley of Leonard; four grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Rev. J. D. Wade officiating. Burial was at Bethlehem Cemetery near Whitney. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery, P. O. Box 234, Whitney 76692.
