Passed peacefully away with family by her side at Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, after a long battle on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, Dorothy Ruth (born Adams) Carlisle, aged sixty-five years.
Youngest Daughter of the Late Edgar Adams (1907 - 1981) and Annie Blanche (born Learning) Adams (1908 - 1993). Former spouse of the late Fred Carlisle and devoted Mother of Jennifer Dawn (Shamus Meaney) of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and Frederick Todd (Trudy) of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada.
Dear Sister of the late Jean (Hussey)(1930 - 2006); Daphne (Arthur White); Shirley (the late George Shaner) of Roy, Utah, USA; Elizabeth; the late Edgar David "Jupe" (Marina Barbour); Margaret (the late Edgar Rodgers); Eric (Lucy Heffernan) of Fredericton, N.B.; and Reginald (Joan Jones).
Dear Sister-in-Law to: June Byrne (Ken); Doting Grandmother to her Three (3) Grandchildren: Ryan, Joshua and Brody.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at the Solid Rock Wesleyan Church, 111 Park Avenue, Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada. Visitation from 10-11:30 a.m. with service following.
