Funeral service for Mrs. Jacob (Hattie) Gehr, a lifelong resident of Mount Carroll who died Saturday afternoon in the Good Samaritan Center here following an extended illness, was this afternoon in Frank Funeral Home here. The Rev. Larry Beverly, pastor of the United Brethren Church, officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. She was born May 6, 1878, in Mount Carroll, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Patton) Smith. On Nov. 25, 1897, she was married to Jacob Gehr. Surviving is a brother, Royal of Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
