Anne Elizabeth Andersen Pedersen Alvord, 79, died Saturday, October 24, 1992 at her home in Salt Lake City.
She was born August 7, 1913 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Anton C. and Hildur E. Erickson Andersen. She married George L. Pedersen in 1931 in Salt Lake City; he later died. She married Vern G. Alvord in April of 1949 in Marysville, Utah; he later died. She was raised and educated and lived most of her life in Salt Lake City except for approximately 20 years when she lived in Ogden. She attended Irving Junior High and Henagars Business College. Although she was not affiliated with any religion, she believed in God and was anxious to meet her family in the hereafter.
She worked many years for Bradshaw Auto Pars as a bookkeeper. In her younger days, she played the violin with the Salt Lake Symphony.
Surviving are two daughters, Lavon A. Larsen, Salt Lake City; Dr. Nancy P. and Bob Lunnen, Sandy; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; also two sisters, Evelyn and Paul Phillips and Violet Newton, all of Salt Lake City.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, one great-grandson and her son-in-law, Ted Larsen.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the North Ogden Cemetery. Friends may call at Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 No. Washington Blvd., Wednesday from 12-12:45 p.m.
