MRS. W. J. MINCHER DIED HERE WEDNESDAY
Mrs. W. J. Mincher, of a family living in the last house within the west limit of Roanoke street, Seneca, died shortly after 10 o'clock Wednesday evening, following a critical illness of ten weeks, but more than three years in which she had not been feeling well.

The Minchers are a southern Missouri family who moved to Humboldt shortly after the World War, farmed north of Bern for nine years, lived for a time on a place near DuBois, then came to Seneca in 1934.

Lucy Jane Baker, was born in Crawford county, Missouri, April 13, 1870. She was married to William J. Mincher 52 years ago last Monday at New Hope, Mo. She early became a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and her funeral, to be held at the Lauer Funeral Home Friday at two p.m. will be conducted by Rev. Towmley of Fanning, Kansas, minister of that faith.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Elizabeth Wisdom, Bern; Andrew Mincher, Sabetha; Thomas and Jesse, Seneca; Mrs. Mary Hudson, Keysville, Missouri; Arthur, Sabetha. There are a number of brothers and sisters.

The pallbearers Friday will be the four sons and two other relatives. Interment will be in the Seneca cemetery.
