RITES FRIDAY FOR MRS. JUNGERMANN
Native of Saxony, Ill for weeks, Dies at Daughter's Home

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Lingner Jungermann, 88, native of Saxony, Germany, who came to this country at the age of 6, will be held Friday at 10 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Boyd Bogle, on Golf Club Lane, where she died Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock. . Dr. Earl G. Hamlett, assisted by Dr. T.C. Ragsdale will conduct services
Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery will be private, with her grandsons, Littel lRust, J.U. Rust, Jr., Robert B. Bogle, Jr., Edward Jungermann, and Ferris C Bailey, with J.N. Jack serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Jungermann's family settled first in Virginia after a log voyage, across the ocean in a small sailing vessel in 1849. Later they moved to Nashville and In 1859 she was married to the former Jacob Jungermann, then proprietor of a bakery on North College Street, near the Square. From her husband's shop windows she saw slaves sold at auction, at the Square Market, and also during the Civil War, went there to administer aid to Confederates, taking them bread from the bakery.
For many years, both Mr. & Mrs. Jungermann were members of the German Methodist church here, and during recent years, Mrs. Jungermann was affiliated with the McKendree Methodist Church.
One of Mr. Jungermann's favorite pastimes later life was the card of flowers and she spent many hours in her flower garden at Mrs. Bogle. Shortly before her death she had discussed plans for an enlarged garden there.
Survivors are her children: Mrs. R.B. Bogle and Mr. J.U. Rust at Nashville; and Mrs. C.C. Stoll, Louisville; three sons, George Jungermann, Nashville, Ernest Jungermann , Bowling Green, Arthrur Jungermann, Louisville; 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

BURIAL TODAY FOR MRS. JUNGERMANN
Native of Germany Died Here Wednesday Morning.
Final rites for Mrs. Jungermann,88, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Boyd Bogel, on Golf Club Lane, Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock. Services will be conducted from the residence Friday at 10 a.m.
Mrs. Jungermann was a native of Saxony, Germany and came to this country when he was six year old with her family, who crossed the ocean in a small sailing vessel. They settled in Virginia where they remained for ten years, and then moved to Nashville.
In 1859, she was married to the late Jacob Jungermann, bakery proprietor. For a number of years, Mrs. Jungermann and her husband attended the German Methodist Church and later became affiliated with the McKendree Church. Dr. Earl G. Hamlett, assisted by Dr. T.C. Ragsdale will be in charge of the services. Private services will be in Mount Olivet, J.N. Jack and her grandsons, Ferres G Bailey, Littell Rust, Robert B. Bogle, Jr., Edward Jungermann, and J.U. Rust, serving as pallbearers.
