Mrs. Alma Loechler Witwer, wife of J. Frank Witwer, pioneer Kansas City motor car dealer, died yesterday at her home in the Lucerne hotel. She was 64 years old.
Born in Columbus, O., Mrs. Witwer came to Kansas City in January, 1908. Her husband built their first home at 3732 Tracy avenue, the first residence between Troost avenue and the Paseo and Thirty-seventh and and Fortieth streets. Mrs. Witwer was a member of the ladies' aid society and the Women's Bible class of St. Mark's Lutheran church, 3800 Troost avenue. She is survived also by a son, Louis F. Witwer, 4124 Tracy avenue; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas A. Evans and Mrs. George W. Carroll of Columbus, and a brother, Herman F. Loechler of Minneapolis.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Thursday at St. mark's Lutheran church. Burial will be in Mount Moriah cemetery."
