Earle R. Cook Died Saturday
Earle R. Cook, 38, died unexpectedly at his home Saturday, July 3, 1982. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home with Fr. Carl Erickson officiating. Burial was in the soldier's section of Riverside cemetery. Military rites were conducted by V.F.W. post 4047.
Born May 29, 1944, at Appleton, Minn., he graduated from Fort Benton High School in 1962. He served in the Army in West Germany until his discharge in 1965. He worked for several years in Washington, Minnesota and Great Falls for Acme Personnel Services.
On July 3, 1975, he and Kathleen Price were married in Fort Benton. Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Ali; a son, Andy, all of Fort Benton; two other sons, Rick, stationed in Washington, D. C., Jeff of Minnesota; his parents, Oscar and Elna Cook; two sisters, Gloria Hofland and Cindy Baack, and a brother, Larry, all of Fort Benton.
