Zechariah Almond, 74, died September 26, 1906 at Barnes City, Iowa of Pulmonary Tuberculosis and was buried in Union Mills Cemetery
Born June 3, 1832 in Kentucky, he was united in Marriage by Justice of the Peace Robert Jeffrey, on January 3, 1853 in Warren Co., Illinois to Catherine Ann Enfield, born March 19, 1836.
They were the parents of eight children; John Wesley, Mary Jane, Ida Mae, Alice, George, Loren F., Levi Abner, and Samuel E. Almond.
