Savannah, Ga., March 19 -(Special) - Gardner Edward Dickinson died this morning after an illness of two weeks. Mr. Dickinson was head of the cotton factorage firm of Dickinson Company. He was born in 1867 at Bainbridge, and had been in the cotton business here since 1887. He leaves a widow, who was Miss Georgia Gaston, of Gainesville, and two children, of this union and a young son of his first wife, Willie Helen Middleton Dickinson; who died in 1894. The funeral was held privately soon after his death, the cotton exchange being closed during the hour of the funeral.
