Funeral services for Oliver Orval, Jim, McCray, 71, of 100 Rawley Street, Longview, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Merrell Brooks officiating. Burial will be in the Memory Park Cemetery.
Mr. McCray died at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 1972 in a Longview hospital. He had been a resident of Longview for the past four years, coming from Possum Kingdom Lake near Graford, Texas.
He was a retired LVN and had worked at the Nazarene Hospital in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a former member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy McCray of Longview, four step-daughters; Mrs. Quentin Lockett of Longview, TX, Mrs. Dale Danielson of Spring Valley, Wisconsin, Mrs. W.L.. Pete Hodges of Jacksboro, Texas and Mrs. Gaston McKinney of Warren, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Grober and Mrs. Edythe Burns, both of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two brothers, Glen McCray of the United States Army overseas and Carl McCray of Washington; twelve grandchildren , four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
