She was born on Feb. 21, 1912, in Washington, Ill., a daughter of Edward A. Bradle and Blanche Meyer Bradle. Alice married Robert J. Barton on Sept. 8, 1937, in Washington, Ill. He died Dec. 28, 1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters (Gladys Roehm, Esther Evans and Bernice Zinser) and three brothers (Gilbert Bradle, Robert Bradle and Raymond Edward Bradle).
Alice was a homemaker.
She was active with the Methodist Medical Center Service League and in her church, St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington.
Alice was an avid golfer with the Hillcrest Golf League and the Pine Lakes Golf League.
She also had been a beautician in Washington for many years. She graduated from Midstate College with a cosmetology degree in 1932.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington.
