Mr. Brewer was born in Muncie and graduated from Central High School. He worked at Haney Pharmacy and Spartan West Pharmacy for 30 years. He was a member of Industry Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 47 years, V. Louise Brewer; a daughter, Judy Brewer; a son, David E. Brewer; two sisters, Reba L. Clay and Orpha Rae McLaughlin, and two granddaughters.
Four brothers and four sisters are deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Parson Mortuary. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. Calling will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
