Odessa--Oliver "Slim" Fulfer, 75, died Wednesday, Oct 30, 1996, at his residence. He was born March 22, 1921, in Palo Pinto County, TX. He married Faye Byrant, March 6, 1943 in Mineral Wells, Texas.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 1996, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Chaplin Jessie Hutcheson officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Mr. Fulfer moved to Odessa in 1965 from Jal, N.M. He was a retired mechanic from Jones Brothers Dirt and Paving.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Fulfer.
Mr. Fulfer is survived by a son; Henry Wayne Fulfer of Odessa; daughters, Penny Evans of Odessa, Jean Sims of Lubbock, Frances Marie Sutton of Lubbock and Sandra Faye Burns of Hobbs, N.M., sister; Sis Tucker of Valard, Texas, and Betty Moist of Washington; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
