Chester was born in Marshfield, Missouri. He was second born of triplet boys, Chester, Brian Lester Todd #62201317, and Vester Todd. Vester died as an infant. His other siblings are: Clarence A., Clara Irene (Todd) Cantrell #67005453, Albert, (Sadie)Blanch (died as an infant) and Dorothy C. Todd (Waranke, Gaines, Matheney) #66201531,(one siblling is unnamed). Only four of nine children lived to be adults. Chester, Brian Lester, Clara Irene and Dorothy. Chester and Lucretia had two daughters, Arlice Sue (deceased) and Barbara Ann. Chester retired from the creamery in Visalia after many years of service.
