Alice married Julius (nick-named "Dule") Edward Spainhour (1862-1934) on 15 Jan 1888 at Forsyth County, North Carolina. Alice and Julius were the parents of seven known children, namely:

2. Ella E. Spainhour Parker (1890-1939)
3. Theodore Theophilus Spainhour (1892-1963)
4. Effie Eldora Spainhour Angell (1893-1949)
5. Walter Lee Spainhour (1897-1954)
6. Lillie H. Spainhour Brown (1900-1969)
7. Eva Permelia Spainhour Brown (1906-1976)
