Edith Marie (Ozburn) Cayemberg went to her heavenly home on Friday, July 15, 2011, at a hospital in Milwaukee, after a short illness. She was born on Nov. 21, 1938, to Glenn and Lillian (Delebroux) Ozburn in Amberg, Wis. Edith was the Salutatorian of her class in 1956 graduating from Amberg High School. The next day, she moved to Green Bay, where she worked for a local architectural firm. She was also a dental assistant for Dr. Gerald Mortel Sr. and worked at Jane's Hallmark for a decade before retiring due to health reasons.

On May 17, 1958, Edith married Earl Cayemberg at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay. She was a devoted and much loved wife, mother and grandmother.

Edith spent many years volunteering. She was a librarian at Fort Howard and Elmore Elementary Schools and a religious education teacher at St. Patrick's Parish where she was also a member of the choir for many years. Edith was also the religious education coordinator for grades 1 to 3 at St. Patrick's Parish from the mid 1970's to the mid 1980's.

Edith is survived by her husband, Earl Cayemberg; her son, Thomas E. Cayemberg; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Thomas M. Cochrane; beloved granddaughter, Catherine; three brothers, Marvin (Fae) Ozburn, Oklahoma City; Jerry (Patsy) Ozburn; John Ozburn, Sussex; two sisters, Mary Williams, Peshtigo; and Lois Wartick, Missouri; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fern Gouin, Darlene Cayemberg, Marie Gouin, Raymond (Nancy) Cayemberg, Lavern "Babe" Cayemberg, Lois (Paul) Bertrand; her friend and cousin, Christina Fruehe, other cousins, numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Snickers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Glen Jr. and Stan (Gertrude) Ozburn; one sister, Maude; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Russell Williams, Virgil Wartick, Albert Gouin, Robert Cayemberg, Edward, Cayemberg, Francis Gouin, Carolyn and Elmer Cayemberg; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her other beloved dog, Buddy.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A Parish Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may also call at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum
