Donald R. Johnston, Sr., 42, Colby, Kan., formerly of Kansas City, died Friday at the home. He was born in Monroe County, Mo., and had lived here seven years before moving to Colby last year. Mr. Johnston had been a rancher and a carpenter. He was a member of the Belton First Presbyterian Church. He leaves two sons, Donald Ray Johnston and James Robert Johnston of Independence; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Paris, Mo.; three brothers, Thomas Johnson and Branuel Johnson of Paris, and Jay Johnson, Bate City, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Virginia Gallop, Paris. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Agnew Chapel, Paris; burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery there.
