THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, April 2, 1969.

Mrs. Mary O. Doolijn, 1744 E. Booth St. who had gone to Waco to attend her sister, Mrs. C.C. Mier, reported seriously ill, died of a sudden attack of illness there Wednesday at 12:15 a.m.

The funeral was set for Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Leverett & Steele Chapel with the Rev. Kerby Edwards of Calvary Methodist Church officiating. Burial to be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.

Relatives are gathering at the home of Mrs. Nix, 529 Fitzhugh Ave.

She was born at Lake Creek, Delta County on 4 Aug 1895, a daughter of Sankey Johnson and Vesta Ann Miller. A former employee of Stone's Cleaners and owner of the Sunshine Grocery here.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Chlorene (Harvey) Collier, Mrs. Alma Doolin (Casey) Nix, Mrs. Jessie Mae (Jim) Whitaker and Mrs. Eddie Doolin (Johnny) Aubry, all of Paris, and Mrs. Josey Doolin (Rev. Solan H.) Parrott of Canton, MS; a number of other descendants; four brothers & sisters, Earl Johnson of Lubbock, Linas Johnson of Hobbs, NM, Mrs. Charlie Bartley of Crowell and Mrs. Mier of Waco.

Pallbearers are Morris Simmons, C.V. & Don Flanary, Tommy Price, Don Crenshaw, Bill White, Bobby Farabee and Tommy Whitaker.
