Treva LaVerne Pugh, 84, of Columbia passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Parker Funeral Service.

Treva was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Columbia to William Herbert “Kelley” Rule and Imogene Hill Rule. She married W. W. “Bud” Pugh on June 8, 1946. He predeceased her in March 1999.

Treva was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed reading and country music.

Treva is survived by her children, Vicki (Corky) Mansfield, Ronald (Pam) Pugh and Linda (Ron) Carlyle of Columbia, Janis Serati of Fargo, N.D., and Lisa Clough of Strongsville, Ohio; a sister, Rayma Jo Smith of California, Mo.; sister-in-law Delores Rule of Kingston, Ga.; and an uncle, Harold (Mae) Hill of Columbia; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, with No. 13 due in April; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant daughter, Sherri; a son-in-law, John Serati; two brothers, Ronald Rule and Randy Rule; and her parents.

Memorials may be given to Wilkes United Methodist Church, where Treva was a lifetime member or the charity of your choice.
