CLIO—Mrs. Nora Atkinson, 89, widow of Daniel J. Atkinson, died Sunday morning at a rest home in Bennettsville.
Born in Dillon County, daughter of J.W. and Flora Jane McPaul Alford, she spent most of her life in the Carolina community and was a member of the Carolina Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be held in the Carolina Presbyterian Church Monday at 4 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery....
She is survived by one son, J. Alford Atkinson of Clio and Myrtle Beach; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive....
