Roberta Lee DeGabain, 81, of Cheyenne died Aug. 20 at her home.

She was born March 14, 1927, in Keensburg, Colo.

Mrs. DeGabain married Floyd DeGabain on Nov. 4, 1945, at her home northwest of Fort Collins near LaPorte, Colo.

She worked for Mountain Bell for many years and was part owner of De's Candy Shop.

Mrs. DeGabain loved to knit, embroidery, crochet, travel and country music. She was always ready to go fishing. She and Floyd were members of the Oak Spokes Antique Car Club.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd DeGabain; one son, Edward W. DeGabain of Cheyenne; two daughters, Carolyn Souza and Claudia Botner both of Cheyenne; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Rusk of Cortez, Colo., and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. DeGabain was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" and Dorothy Dyer and by two brothers, Albert and Harold Dyer.
