Mrs. Florence Lane, 70,wife of Jeff Lane, who resides southeast Herod in hardin county, died of uremic poisoning at 3:30 p.m Thursday at the of a son, William Lane at Raleigh. Her health had been failing for several months. She was Miss Florence Oglesby born in Critten, County, Ky. Daughter of Calvin Oglesby and Catherine (Partain) Oglesby. She was married twice. She had six brothers George, James, Peter, Wilson Coleman, william, Lee Oglesby And three sisters America, Virginia, Lydia Margaret (Oglesby) Winkleman, of Harrisburg Il. She leaves her Husband, 24 grandchildren and one great- grandchild and the following children: Mrs. Otis (Lily) Allen, Mrs. Myrtle Parish, Virgil Howard Wright, Fred and Roy Lane, Of Harrisburg Il., William Glen Lane, Raleigh Il. The funeral will be held at the General Baptist Church on west Sloan street at 2 p.m. Saturday and interment will be at Lavender Cemetery, Hardin county. The Rev. Millard Oxford and the Rev. Sherman Rector will Conduct the funeral Services.
