FELIX JOSEPH BAILEY
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Felix J. Bailey, 65, who died early Sunday morning at the Plummer Memorial Hospital, Dexter. The Rev. Gaston Auger officiated, and interment was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
He was born at Fort Kent, Dec. 25, 1897, son of Joseph and Mattie (Boutot) Bailey.
He was employed in the local woolen mills since moving to Dexter 43 years ago.
Survivors are his widow, Marguerite (Ambrose) Bailey; two sons, Arthur Bailey of Dexter and Lionel Bailey of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter, Miss Charlotte Bailey of Dexter; three brothers, Joseph of Dover-Foxcroft, Fred of Meriden, Conn., and Philip of South Paris; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Nadeau of Greenville, Mrs. Rilla Steeves of New Haven, Conn., Mrs. Delphine St. Germain of Eagle Lake and Mrs. Corinne Noyes of Dover-Foxcroft; and nine grandchildren.
