A prayer service for Aaron P. (Shorty) Fadden was held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Kaun Funeral Home, Princeton and the funeral was at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Arnon Lundborg officiating.

Aaron P. (Shorty) Fadden, son of Joseph and Theresia (Fuecker) Fadden was born March 22, 1901 in Cold Springs, Minnesota. He moved to Princeton about 1919. He was united in marriage to Edythe Elisabeth Bullis October 12, 1920 in Princeton. She passed away May 23, 1953. He was united to Luona Rudesill May 29, 1959 in Foley. They have made their home in Milaca for the last number of years. Shorty worked fas a section laborer and foreman for the Great Northern Railroad and retired in 1959. He was a member of the Foley American Legion. He served his country in the Korean Conflict. Shorty passed away in Milaca April 4, 1979 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife Luona of Milaca; sons: William of Malaga, Washington and Philip of Milaca: daughters: Mrs. Galen (Shirley) Olene of Princeton and Mrs. Warren F. (Donna) Handell of Chesapeake, Virginia; by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

Mr. Andrew Hellzen and Miss Valerie Olene were the soloists for the funeral and Mrs. Dennis Olene the organist. Pallbearers were Emrick Johnson, Dick Satterstrom, Bernard Ward, Loren Swenson, Lyle Offerdahl, Therold Whitcomb and Leland Hanson. Interment was in the Oak Knoll Cemetery at Princeton.
