The Correctionville News, 21 August 1952, page 1: Word was received by Mrs. Fred Scheelhaase that her brother, Ad Doyle, well known here, passed away Saturday night at the Carroll hospital at the age of 86 years. For years the Doyle family farmed south of town and then moved to South Dakota. Mr. Doyle, in later years, spent much of his winters with his sister here. He is survived by a son at Saco, Montana, and two brothers, C.A. Malcolm of Spencer, Nebraska, and G.W. Malcolm of Oto. Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Leonard and June and Fred Scheelhaase attended the funeral services on Tuesday afternoon at the Anthon Methodist Church. Burial was in the Anthon cemetery.
