Arkie T. Bogle, 93, died April 6, 2003. Born Sept. 16, 1909, in Yellville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence Keeling Rice.

On Dec. 25, 1926, she married John Winthrup Bogle.

Survivors include: five sons and four daughters-in-law, Joe and Addie Bogle of Apopka, Fla., J.W. Bogle of Hazelwood, Carl and Marlene Bogle of Sikeston, Wilton and Wanda Bogle of Overland and Johnny and Shirley Bogle of Kennett; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Thomas Milburn of Senath and Betty and Charles Anderson of Kennett; three sisters, Edra Young of California, Othello Taylor of Arkansas and Zula Hutchison of Arizona; one brother, Ray Rice of Arkansas; one son-in-law, John Lacy of Defiance; and 25 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie Lacy and Elsie Klein; one daughter-in-law, Joeanne Bogle; and two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four brothers and four sisters.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett with Bill Lovelace and Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Her grandsons served as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were her grandsons and great-grandsons.
