ABINGDON - Wanda I. Trulock, 79, of 406 W. South St. died at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg. Born April 1, 1923, in Downing, Mo., to Frank and Opal Phelps Rood, she married James R. Trulock in 1943 in Missouri. Surviving are one son, Edward (and Maggie) of Logansville, Ga.; four grandchildren; and five sisters, Corene (and Leo) Koller of Avon, Melba (and George) Onion of Abingdon, Elaine (and Glen) Johnson of Altona, Willadean Hughey of Jacksonville, Fla., and Barbara (and John) Myers of Orange City, Fla. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Trulock; and one sister. She formerly worked at Outboard Marine Corp. in Galesburg. She was a member of Abingdon Christian Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hinchliff-PearsonWest Abingdon Chapel. The Rev. Raymond McLaren will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the chapel. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her church.
