Invitations Out For Kriner-Keesecker Wedding This Month
Invitations have been issued by Harry Hovermale, Berkeley Springs, W. Va., for the marriage of his daughter, Agnes H. Keesecker, Hagerstown, Md., to Audrey V. Kriner Jr., son of Mary Helen Middlekauff, 252 South Church Street.
The wedding will be solemnized in Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church of Hagerstown on Saturday, September 18, a t half after two o'clock. There will be a. reception in the church Immediately after the wedding. Officiating will be Rev. Earl E. Redding. The bride will be given away by Lawrence Hovermale, her brother.
Miss Ruth Ellen Hovermale, Berkeley Springs, a niece of the
bride-elect, will be maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Mrs. William Grove, Berkeley Springs, a cousin of the bride-elect, and Mrs. William Awlshire, Hagerstown. Jean Middlekauff will be the flower girl.
Hillard Hull, Waynesboro, will be Mr. Kriner's best man. The ushers will be William C. Middlekauff. Waynesboro,
cousin of Mr. Kriner, and William Grove, Berkeley Springs,
cousin of the bride-to-be.
Wedding music will be presented by Mrs. Betty Hamburg, vocalist, and Evelyn Sullivan, organist.

Agnes Belle Kriner passed away Sunday April 11, 2021 at Sunrise. She was born on April 2, 1919 on the Hovermale Family farm outside Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. She was the youngest of 9 Children born to Harry and Mary Hovermale. During her early years she became very active in the Cross Roads Evangelical United Brethren Church and was a member of the Family Gospel and Bluegrass Group, the "Morgan County Ridge Runners", that performed at many local events and on the local AM Radio stations. She later moved to Hagerstown where she worked as a Department Store sales clerk in Women's Wear, then as WWII started she went to work as an Aircraft Assembly person "Rosie the Rivetter" at Fairchild Aircraft. That is where she met Art Kriner, Married and produced one Son Andrew. The Kriner Family moved to Miami Shores, Florida in 1960 and then to Hollywood in 1964 which is where she lived until her death.
She was a devoted Wife, Mother and active Member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Hollywood where she was a choir member, Prayer Chain leader and participant in many functions.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Art in 2001 and is survived by her Son Andrew who is also a Florida resident.
She will be buried next to Art at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
She always wore a smile, was outgoing and wanted to be friends with everyone.
She will be dearly missed!
