Tombstone reads: Wife of A.L. Woodall,aged 52 years, "I am the mother of these three dear boys lying here by my side."
The three boys buried by her are: William P.,b. 1869, d.1/28/1872--aged 3 years; Charlie F. Woodall, b. 12/28/1882, d, 3/12/1883, aged 3 Mos. and 4 days; Charles H., b. 1871, d. 12/28/1876--aged 15 years.

Susannah "Susie" Hendricks Woodall was the daughter of William H. Hendricks Sr. and Susannah (a full-blood Cherokee orphan girl born in the Cherokee Nation East, GA.) This is also where Susie was born according to the Bible of William H. Hendricks Sr. on Sept. 1st, 1827. **Note tombstone says 1831.

She had 12 siblings: James R., Annie, Jane, Margaret, John, Nancy, Catherine and William H. Jr. (all born in the Cherokee Nation East, GA) and the rest born in IT (OK)--Willis, Franklin, Elizabeth and Thomas Hendricks. (See Emmet Starr's "History of the Cherokee Indians" p. 465.

Susan "Susie" married Abraham L. Woodall, b. 1833, son of Thomas Woodall and Nannie Tadpole. They had 4 sons: Thomas Fox Woodall and the 3 listed above.

She is on the Old Settler Roll: Tahlequah, 138 (1896 p. 63); and the 1880 Census (CN): Canadian, 1528 as Susan Woodall.
