BUSTILLO, Frank E., age 78, of Miamisburg passed away day at Miami Valley Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie in June 1982. He was a 1925 graduate of the University of Dayton.
At the time of his death he was survived by a son, Dr. Frank R. and wife Bettye of Miamisburg, grandchildren, Ginger (Bustillo) Masters, Frank E. , and Mark R. Bustillo;

Community prayers were held at the Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery.

1933 to 1936 he worked for the General Machine shop in the Dept of communications, Mexico city Mexico as shop superintendant. He resigned from this position to return to the U.S.
In June of 1936 he worked for the Colorado River Land Co. Calexico California as a construction engineer. He surveyed and constructed irrigation canals. This work was on the land of the Colorado River Land Co in lower California, Mexico. He left this position to return to Dayton Ohio.

From 1951 to 1953 he worked for the Climatool Corp in Cleveland Designer of machine tools and single purpose automatic machines. He worked from April 1953 to March of 1954 for "Designers of Industry" Cleveland OH in charge of Machine tool division He left there to work for Wayne Works Inc Richmond IN as Methods and process engineer in the manufacture of bus bodies. He also worked for Litton and Garner Machine co, during the time of his lengthy engineering career he invented many things under the name of the companies he worked for. He had a brilliant mind for design, he was a very quiet man, he loved his wife and son and retired very late in life. He and his wife Maria had crazy Siamese cats and he enjoyed playing chess and was constantly taking things apart and repairing them. He was a devout Catholic and very proud of his family's Spanish heritage.
