Adam Leo Blahut, Pine Plains, died Dec. 9, 2005 at Northern Dutchess hospital, Rhinebeck. He was born April 5, 1931 in Lvov, Poland, son of Ludwik & Stephanie Crist Blahut. In 1953 he immigrated to the U.S. He was a local resident since 1965, previously living in Brooklyn. In 1983 he retired as vice president of engineering for V&O Press Co in Hudson. On Jan. 20, 1957, In Brooklyn, he married Helen Dembowski, who died April 4, 2005. Survivors include sons Richard, Pine Plains; Leslie & Victor; 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Burial in Evergreen.
