Death of H.D. Wall

H.D. Wall, our respected fellow townsman, died Tuesday night from pneumonia (sic), following a severe stroke of apoplexy about a month ago. Mr. Wall was born in Kentucky September 11, 1829, and was seventy-eight years, six months, and twenty days of age at the time of death. He had been a resident of Nebraska forty-two years, residing all that time but four years in Cass county. He resided at Nebraska City four years when he first came to this state. He leaves a wife, three sons, and two daughters. He was well known over western Cass county and highly respected. Funeral services were held from the Christian church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon conducted by Elder Cyrus Alton. Mr. Alton is preparing an extended obituary which will be printed next week. -- Elmwood Leader-Echo.

Died 31 Mar 1908 at Unadilla, Otoe Co. Nebr. Married 23 Feb 1854 in Cooper Co. Mo to Mary A Turley(Molly Ferry), dau of Jesse B. Turley and Juiette A Riddle. He was the father of 5 children, Willian Owen, Robert Harrison, James Dudley, Minnie Lee(Mrs John Emerson Currah Jr), Juiette Eleanor. Siblings; John P. of Pomona, Harrison L. of Pierce City, Mo. Harriett J,wife of George C Dugan, Ann E Wife of Charles Miller, Mary E wife of Richard Smith, one brother Richard P preceded him in Death.
Henson was a photographer for many years,had his own studio, and taking photos durning the civil war. After the close of the war he went to Nebr where he was a farmer.
