Earl was born on April 11, 1914 in Idaho. Earl and Della, his wife of 49 years, were some of the early developers of the Yelm area, involved in building many homes and other structures themselves, including the building of the existing Yelm Seventh Day Adventist Church and School. Earl experienced many adventures in his life. One such adventure was exploring Alaska on his fishing boat. Earl also was an avid gardener, and was very faithful to the Lord and active with his church. He was involved in many charities and missions. He worked with the church Dorcas many years and helped with quilting and crafts. Earl had a heart of gold and gave so much to his family.
