Albert J. Adamo, 81, of Clairton, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Jefferson Hills. Born July 19, 1929, in Clairton, he was a son of the late Peter and Marie Adamo. A retired Tool Room attendant at U.S. Steel's Clairton Works, Albert was a Korean War veteran of the Army and a parishioner of St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton. He was also a member of the Sons of Columbus, Santa Maria Council No. 4, the Clairton American Legion, Daniel Keffer Post No. 75 and the former Century Club of St. Clare of Assisi Church. Besides his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his siblings, Lena Staropoli, Amerigo Adamo and Margaret Massi.
