Glenda Fay (Hutson) Alexander A security officer for the Louisiana Department of Corrections and a resident of Jackson, she died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. She was 71, born on Oct. 8, 1937, in Baker.

Survived by her husband, Jack Alexander, of Jackson; daughter, Anita Wilson Barnes, of Jackson; two sons, Terry Glenn Wilson, of Gillsburg, Miss., and James Lamar Aron Jr., of Magnolia, Miss.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, William E. Hutson Sr. and Donnis Kirkland Hutson Stewart; stepfather, Jessie Dean Stewart; sister, Hilda Walters; and two brothers, William E. Hutson Jr. and Leo Hutson.

Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, Miss., on Friday, Feb. 27, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Graveside service at Gillsburg Baptist Church Cemetery, Gillsburg, on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m., conducted by Brother Rick Hall.
