Lonsdale resident A.D. Asbury Died Dec. 9, 1998. He was 71.
Asbury was retired from the Union Paific Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Asbury; three sons and their wives, Rodney and Mary Asbury, Rickey and Polly Asbury, Donnie and GiGie Asbury, all of Lonsdale; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Kenny Kyle of Lonsdale; two brothers, J.R. Asbury and James Asbury of Pearcy; five sisters, Audrey Dalton of Malvern, Dorothy Henson, Nola Mae Jones and Opal Standridge of Pearcy and Alice Sanders of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Friday at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Vance Nutt officiating. Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery.
Kenny Kyle, Murl Tate, Darrell Williams, Sam Steele, David Browning and John James will serve as pallbearers.
