She lived in Rancho Cucamonga for 83 and was employed by Thrifty Market as a retail clerk for 20 years. She went to Chaffey High School. She was a member of the Cucamonga Service Club. She is survived by her husband Louis C. Gakle, daughters Dorothy Jean and Patricia Ann, 6 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Fredrick and Lorena Owings, sister Dorothy Johnson and brother William Owings. Funeral will be at Bellevue on July 15, 2011 at 10:00-10:30 am at the South Entrance, located at 1240 West G Street, Ontario.
