Funeral services were officiated by Rev. Clarence Andrews, Jr., a nephew from Phoenix, Arizona.
He was born 9 May 1915 in Campte, Louisiana. He moved to Breckenridge in 1922. Andrews attended Breckenridge schools and graduated from Breckenridge High School.
Andrews worked for Vought Corporation in Grand Prairie, from 1953-1978 when he retired as a maintenance foreman. He moved back to Breckenridge in 1986. Andrews was a member of the Elks Lodge, Knights of Pythias and Odd Fellows Lodge.
Survivors: wife - Bessie Andrews of Breckenridge; four step-sons - Samuel E. Allen, Harold Purcell, Jr, Louie Purcell, Basil Seals; one step-daughter - Earlene Cagle; two brothers - Bill and Ray Andrews, both of Breckenridge; sister - Margie Charles of Greenfield, OH; five step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one step-daughter; two brothers; two sisters; one step-grandchild.
