William Edgar Adams married Celestia "Lessie" D. Tondee in 1865 in Atlanta Georgia - they had two children - a son which died after 5 days in 1866 and Frank Tondee Adams in 1867. Celestia died the day Frank was born. Frank then lived in the household with his grandparents until Edgar married his third wife. Frank is mentioned in the obiutary of is half-brother Gilliand and is living with Edgar and his wife in 1900. My sources for this information is the original letters from Benjamin Adams (father to Edgar) to the Tondees in Schley County. The originals of these letters are keep in the Civil War letter files at Duke University called the Tondee letters. (Shared by Martha A. McCorkle #47237407)
