Funeral services for Mrs. Bob Anders, 87, of Palacios, were held Friday in the Palacios Funeral Home with the Rev. J. R. Gwin officiating. Burial was in Palacios Cemetery. Mrs. Anders died Aug. 13 in an Angleton hospital following a brief illness. Born April 12, 1893 in Comanche County, she moved to Olivia at an early age and lived in Palacios for many years. She had been residing in a Clute nursing home. Surviving are three sons, Alfred Anders and Milton Anders, both of Lake Jackson, and Ray Anders of Palacios; a brother, Kire Smith of Big Foot; five grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
