Alvin was a very loving husband and father. His children loved him dearly. He was very good at fixing any thing he set his mind to fix.He worked at varied jobs, but the time of his death he was working as a truck mechanic for an oil company. He had Endocarditis that messed up his Aortic
valve and had to have it replaced. His death was probably
caused from a clot on the valve. He died quietly one night
at home. He was truly a good hearted person that would do
anything for any one. He never met a stranger.He had 2 children, Tracy and Alvin Jr., and 6 grand children,Skylar, Logan, Derek, James, Dylan, and Brianna.He married Delores Jean McIrvin on 1-1-1971 in Rockdale, Texas.
